My story has been told before, I’m sure. My mother is a heavy woman; I felt it was my destiny to get bigger as I got older. When I was a teen I tried starving myself, but it all piled back on and then some. I have seriously tried every diet going, and much to my disgust not only have I put the original weight back on I ended up feeling more worthless than before.
Using the tools provided on SomeBody Weigh Better, I have now learned to make better food choices. I’m a huge believer in guilt being an obstacle for weight loss. If I take in too much energy for the day, I can work it off and go to bed with a clear conscience. I know by looking at the chart that I have eaten a balanced diet for the day with the correct proportions of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, so I’m not just a thinner person, but a healthier person.
I have now lost a total of 37 KGs and have kept my weight at a constant without the huge up and downs I have battled all my life.
I have taken up different competitive sports and I still use the tools from the website to make sure I am getting enough fuel for the day; SomeBody Weigh Better has become part of what I do every day to keep control and stay on top of my game.
